I've decided to leave the game as it is as the sims have been, well, behaving for these last couple of days. Pregnancy Controller is fine, as is probably the other one from MTS mentioned above.
I'm sorry, but they are definitely in the category of "use at your own risk" and are not to be recommended wholesale to other players who want their ongoing games to last a very long time. Their coding unfortunately does not take patches over 1.55 or 1.57 into account as neither developer returned to them to do the final patch updates in late 2013/14. Some we have eventually been able to help after much work, some were beyond that point. I get some pushback at MTS almost every time I say this, but we have had many, many players come to us with broken games because of those over the years since.
Not all players, I'm glad some can still use them. They break players' games on Patches 1.63 and higher. Besides probably not being a suitable topic for this forum, the Hospital Overhaul mods (both of them, two different developers made one each) are not okay for many players.
